Introducing SensatioNails

Kate has been a qualified Nail Technician since the late 1990s when, having attained her Star Nails Certification in 1996, she set up and ran her own nail studio at home for a number of years before closing her business down, and returning to an administrative role within the NHS.  However, she still sees some of the ladies who helped her to get started all those years ago.

Thanks to a small number of initial clients, she built her business from scratch, with over 90% of her client base of over 80 clients, coming from personal recommendations rather than advertising.

Working from her home in Titchfield, Kate will only use silk or fibreglass wraps over extensions or natural nails, as she believes this is a much gentler system and does not damage the natural nail underneath, and she will also support the care and required maintenance - Full after care instructions will be provided on your first visit.  She is also a specialist at nail art and enjoys getting creative with paints, stones, transfers and glitter.  Below are a few images of Kate's work over the years.  (All the hand images shown are Kate's own natural nails with silk overlay)

One of the things Kate likes best about this work is applying a full set of extensions to a client who has always bitten their nails, and seeing their face when they see themselves with glamorous hands and nails for the first time, saying "That really makes it all worthwhile - changing someone’s life!"
